Workshop on Electoral Systems and Understanding of Democracy at BHAK Eisenstadt

Austrian renown “Journal für Rechtspolitik” publishes recommendations for electoral reforms

A revised and more comprehensive version of the catalog for electoral reforms compiled by wahlbeobachtung.org (Election-Watch.EU) has now been published by the Journal für Rechtspolitik.

Austria is the host country of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and chaired the OSCE in 2017. Vienna: Every two years, the Association of Austrian Adult Education Centers awards the Barbara Prammer Prize for outstanding work and initiatives in the field of civic education. The Ludo Hartmann Prize Jury and as additional jury member, Mag. Gertraud Diendorfer-Ratzenböck from the Democracy Center Vienna, awarded this prize to the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wahlbeobachtung.org for their project of the same name. The final report of the OSCE / ODIHR Election Assessment Mission to the parliamentary elections on 15 October 2017 once again confirms that Austria is a solid democracy.
